I am a proud resident of Woodstock, Georgia. This is where my wife, Kimberly, and I have chosen to build our lives and raise our three children, ages 17, 13, and 10 all of whom attend our wonderful Cherokee County (CCSD) schools.
My commitment to public service isn't just a choice; it’s a family tradition. Growing up with an aunt who served as a police officer and a grandfather who was a dedicated firefighter, the spirit of "service above self" was instilled in me early. My parents modeled this through their own deep involvement in the PTA, Scouts, and local sports.
I began my own journey of volunteering as a teenager delivering meals with Meals on Wheels. That path eventually led me to 22 years in Scouting, where I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and later completed Wood Badge leadership training. Today, I continue that dedication as an active volunteer leader in Scouts BSA and within our schools, serving as Vice President of the ET Booth PTA and on the Etowah Spirit Wear Committee.
Education and hard work have been the pillars of my professional life. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from American Military University and earned my Master’s in Business Technology from the University of Georgia in 2020.
Currently, I serve as a Senior Application Security Engineer and Team Lead for a Fortune 500 company. In the world of cybersecurity, success depends on more than just technical knowledge; it requires the ability to build consensus across different departments and solve complex problems to protect people and infrastructure. This is the same analytical, security-focused energy I will bring to the Board of Commissioners ensuring our county is protected, efficient, and working for its citizens.
When I’m not focused on community service or my career, I enjoy the simple things that make life in Georgia great. You can often find me working on my cars, cheering on our local football and baseball teams, or enjoying the quiet beauty of our mountains through bird watching and camping.
I am running for the Board of Commissioners because I believe our community deserves a leader who listens, builds bridges, and puts the future of our families first!
